How to Use the Fuel Calculator
This tool helps you calculate fuel costs and CO₂ emissions for your trip. Here's how it works:
- Switch Units: Use the flag button (top right) to switch between EU (km, €) and US (miles, $).
- Manual or Map: Type the distance yourself, or switch to Map and search a start and destination — the distance is measured for you. Tap 2x for a return trip.
- Consumption: Your vehicle's fuel consumption (L/100 km or Miles/Gallon).
- Price: The fuel price per liter or gallon.
- CO₂ Emission (optional): Your vehicle's CO₂ rate (g/km or g/mile).
- People: Split the costs with the +/– buttons.
- Tap Calculate to see the costs per person and emissions.
Results are logged, and you can tap the CO₂ result for more details.
